Torino Film Festival to host Iran movie ‘Autumn Memories’

Iran, Ukraine and Czech joint production ‘Autumn Memories’ is to vie at the Torino Film Festival in Italy.

Iran, Ukraine and Czech joint production ‘Autumn Memories’ has been slated to vie at the 35th Torino Film Festival (TFF) in Italy.

Directed by Ali Fakhr-Mousavi, this is the eighth international appearance of the Iranian feature film.

Shot in Ukraine, ‘Autumn Memories’ is jointly produced by Seyyed-Amir Seyyedzadeh from Iran and Victor Wilhelm from the Czech Republic.

‘Autumn Memories’ is an anti-war love story which depicts the life of a girl whose home and family have been attacked by terrorist groups.

As a person who has experienced displacement, blindness and loss of speech, she can ultimately find peace and love in another part of the world along with people who are themselves affected by war.

Founded in 1982, TFF is an international cinematic event held annually in the city of Turin, Italy.

Held every November, it is the second largest film festival in Italy, after the Venice Film Festival.

The 35th edition of the TFF is scheduled to be held on November 24-December 2, 2017.
